We joined our Hindu friends at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple today to observe the Hindu month of Puratasi.
Puratasi is a special month in the Tamil calendar dedicated to to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Lord Vishnu, who Hindus believed descended to Earth in this month to bless his devotees and protect them from the evils of the Kali Yuga.
During the month of Puratasi, Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple serves devotees meals, and blesses our migrant worker community.
It was a wonderful opportunity for us to learn more about Puratasi
