This year’s Newton NC Mid Autumn Festival was back in full swing! Tickets were sold out weeks before the event. The event took place at the Thomson playground beside the United Square mall.
Residents watched performances by the MoCa ukulele group, who played Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin, as one of the songs in their performance.
There were plenty of sweet treats—from ice cream, grass jelly drink and muah chee—awaiting the children and adults when they want to take a break from the fun activities.
We ended the event by having a short lantern procession around the neighbourhood.
